The purpose for processing your personal information is to allow us to administer your account with us and to provide the products and services you have requested from us. In order to enter into an agreement with Global Doors Ltd., we will collect, store and use elements of your personal data. The lawful basis for processing of this personal data is known as contractual basis, and is necessary by Global Doors Ltd. in order to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us.

When engaging Global Doors Ltd. you will usually need to disclose the following:

What we do with the information we gather and who we may send it to:

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and

in particular for the following reasons:

·       We may use the information to improve our products and services.

·       We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other.

·       We will use Google forms to process employee and customer requests which will then be stored in our google infrastructure.

·       We will process personal data of customers when placing an order over Fax, Email or Telephone.

·       We will process customer personal data in our trade portal application, when customers are placing a new order.

·       We will store personal data from our employees and customers in our online Google Suite platform to enable us to contact those employees and customers.

·       We will process personal data of their customers when sending out a terms of service email.

·       We will process their customers personal details in our CRM. To enable us to market to those individuals.

·       We will process personal data from customers and potential customers who take part in a live chat on the website and fill their details in to a web form for processing.

·       We will process personal data of customers when processing their invoices and delivery notes using Sage & Sage Pay.

·       We will process historic customer data in our Sage 50 infrastructure. This is used for warranty issues and customers queries.

·       We will process the personal data of customers when creating delivery notices for products to be sent to customers.

·       From time to time, we may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. We may contact you by email, phone, fax or mail. We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests. 

As we intend to send your information outside the European Economic Union, we have confirmed the existence of an adequacy agreement is in place with the commission.

How we use cookies

Controlling your personal information

Under the GDPR, you have the right to ‘block’ or request the deletion or removal of personal data to prevent further processing. This right to erasure is also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’. Specific circumstances in which you can request the deletion or removal of personal data includes:

·      When you object to the processing and there is no overriding legitimate interest for continuing the processing.

If, however, you log multiple requests, then there may be nominal charge which we will request to cover the administration of these requests.

You have the right to request us to send this to another controller on your behalf, but only if this is technically feasible for us to do so.
