Pantone have recently announced their colour for 2019 as being Living Coral. It’s a vibrant shade, bringing energy and life into the world of fashion and interiors.
As you might expect, deciding on the colour each year requires Pantone’s colour experts to reflect on colour trends and influences. To achieve this, they ascertain trends, not only relating to design, but including popular travel destinations, the entertainment industry, new technologies, social media and even up-coming sporting events that are likely to capture the worlds’ attention.
It is anticipated that whatever colour Pantone decide upon will have a major influence on multiple industries including home furnishings, product design and fashion houses.
Like the Pantone Color Institute, based in New Jersey, we too have been selecting colour palettes for our new Tresana Collection over recent months.

It is thought that Living Coral will be used as an accent shade, rather than the main tone in an interior colour scheme, appearing on sumptuous fabrics and trimmings.
